About me
The picture on the left is obviously me and one of few photos of my face I don’t hate. My first blog post outlines my adoption story and so if you want to read more about that specifically then you can explore that on the blog posts page, so have a good read and by for now.
Some of the more basic points about me:
- My name is Emily
- I am from the UK
- I study Politics with Chinese at university
- I was adopted from Sichuan, China
A couples of year ago, I found myself going through a kind of identity crisis about being a Chinese adoptee. So I made this blog in the hopes that expressing these feelings would give me an outlet to understand them more. Additionally, there are not too many voices of Chinese adoptees out there right now and so I hope what this blog can be a space where others can find something they relate too.
